To eliminate maintenance requests in the busy re-letting season, we send an email to all of our tenants at the beginning of November reminding them to submit any outstanding maintenance requests over the next week so we can address these. This not only eliminates stress to our team during the busy months but also reminds tenants to put through these requests which they might not deem urgent but over time they have been causing more of an issue than they realise! It is also great for our contractors as it gives them plenty of notice and a chance to attend to the work before they too are busy.
