I have been a tenant with Housingplus for the last five years, and have dealt directly with Amber for the last four. Dealing with Amber has been fantastic. Easily the best Property Manager experience I’ve had in my 15+ years as a tenant! I have been working with Housingplus carrying out Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainlaying
maintenance since August 2009. From a tradesmen’s point of view of a property management company, I believe they are second to none. I find all the staff at Housingplus to be cheerful, courteous and a pleasure to deal with.
The systems that Housingplus have in place make our job a lot easier. Typically, when an issue at a property is identified I will receive a phone call in the first instance with an explanation of what is going on, if any remedies have been attempted and the urgency of the work. From here a work order is emailed through with all the details I need to do the job efficiently including tenant contact details and critically whether I have tenant permission to enter the property using our master key to fix the issue. Having a set of master keys is a huge benefit as it cuts down on the time involved in picking keys up from the office and returning them when work is complete. This is a point of difference to many other property managers and I believe it saves a lot time that they would otherwise be charged for.
Housingplus are very prompt in paying invoices, which reflects their professional approach.
Housingplus has a through vetting process that works well and is reflected in the general cleanliness of the tenancies.
I would highly recommend Housingplus to anyone considering having their properties professionally managed.

We at Wesley Community Action have been working with Amber of Housingplus for over four years. Our tenants are of the older generation and may present with some unique housing requirements. They are all able to live independently but do need more oversight than an average tenant, and Amber provides this oversight with tact and skill. She is an integral part of the Constable Street community and encourages the tenants to get involved and support each other in so many ways. I have been with Housingplus since 2009 and have been dealing with Amber Carr since the beginning of 2014. Amber has been, and still is, showing the units to prospective tenants, selecting the tenants, signing and doing all the paperwork involved in the tenanting of the units and carrying out the sixteen weekly inspections.
Amber keeps a close eye on the rental market and works hard at giving me a good indication of what market rents are and from there I advise on what I think a good and fair price would be for the units for the coming year. I am very pleased in the caring way Amber communicates with the tenants and ensures that both the tenants and I are both happy. Amber is proactive when one tenancy is about to end and has a unit ready to be occupied by new tenants when a current tenant moves out. So, we have zero vacancies which is just great.
